Bio: As a child, when I was asked what I would like to be when I grew up, I always enthusiastically replied, "A doctor and an author!" (I also added on my wish to become an artist (or rather, someone who draws badly, with crayons) but it's clear that hasn't quite panned out as expected.) Now I am an MD/MBA student in Boston. Originally from Massachusetts, I spent several years living abroad. I am a graduate of Brandeis University. Interested in writing, clinical medicine and the management of global health, I started this blog as an attempt to combine my two passions. Here you will find a collection of experiences, and some of my very best anecdotes about traveling, medicine, people, and perhaps even a little something about misguided childhood aspirations.
